During a season of sickness and uncertainty—a friend in the ICU and another recovering from a heart procedure—I share the weight of sleepless vigils, anxious thoughts, and the temptation to blame. In exhaustion, a quiet whisper from God brings brief rest and a reminder that this battle is His.
Through honest prayer, scripture, and the struggle with fear and the ‘what-if’ mind, the episode invites listeners to trust God’s timing, pray for those who are hurting, and find strength in the power of the cross.

A rainy morning escorted the congregation into church where the gospel of Jesus' final words on the cross provoked a sudden, painful awareness of personal sin.
I remembered Christ was broken for me, confronted lingering guilt, then received the assurance of forgiveness and cleansing by Jesus' blood, ending in heartfelt gratitude.

A raw, prayerful account of a long night of struggle, from a moon turning blood-red to the weight of doubt and the ache. Through tears, sweat, and a relentless faith, I poured out my heart when words failed.

Waking to an autumn morning with mist hovering over the treetops, I struggled between a foggy mind and a longing for hope. A restless night and the sudden intrusion of urgent calls threaten a fragile calm.
In the midst of distraction, a simple whisper from Jesus — "My sheep listen to my voice" — brought clarity: all I must do is follow. Peace and strength rose from that choice, grounded in trust and Scripture.

A reflective Sunday morning scene where distraction and small tasks give way to a deep need for something I can’t fully name. In the pew, printed confessions, scripture, and the elements of communion prompt a turning inward toward confession and the meaning of grace.
Through honest struggle with both clear and shadowed sins, I learned that confession is not a way to earn forgiveness but an act of surrender—falling into the Father’s arms who already holds us.

After a long weekend and an early morning workout, old shoulder pain and buried memories resurface, testing both body and heart. Each lift becomes a struggle against physical ache and past failures.
In exhaustion I pray and hear a quiet assurance that God already carries my burdens. With renewed faith and gratitude, I finish the workout and trust that both new and old wounds will heal in time.

Echoes

A silent church awaits a heart-wrenching melody. Fingers press ivory keys, felt hammers strike metal strings, music emerges through wood and iron - in Echoes. In the same way, our prayers, whether joyful or painful, journey through flesh and bone, breath and heartbeat to the heavenly realms - in Echoes. Yet unlike mimicked sounds bouncing off castle walls, prayers return in whispers, gentle (and not so gentle) nudges and God’s unique sense of humor - in Echoes.

Music flows through my fingers as lifeblood spilling over alternating ebony and ivory, intermingling with the precious blood of Christ. Melody and harmony in tune with the Almighty. Echoes Intertwined and Interwoven.
